Metropolis 1.1 iPhone and iPod touch

Metropolis is a fun infotainment app that lets you explore over 400 major cities around the world. It uses the GPS and compass sensors in your iPhone to display a compass with signposts to major cities around your current location.

You can see each city on a map in relation to your current position and access a Wikipedia article for more in-depth information. Metropolis even lets you make virtual trips to any of these cities.

The new search lets you find places by their country or city name**** both in English and native language.

Learning about the world and all the different places suddenly gets lot of fun with Metropolis!
